Eligibility
Who qualifies for our service?
Priority Care Services follows Medicare/Medicaid guidelines for medically necessary transport. Eligibility is determined based on the following criteria:
- Transport in a regular vehicle is contraindicated and unsafe
- Physician documentation stating the need for ambulance transport due to medical condition
- Bed-ridden patients who are unable to be seated unassisted
- Patients requiring constant medical monitoring due to medical condition
- Meets Medicare criteria for "medically necessary"
